What we store and why

Short version: the check stores nothing about you as a person. If you book a call we store what you type, use it for the call, and delete it when you ask.

What we store

The check needs no email and no account. When you measure a business we store the business's name, address and website from Google, the AI answers we got, when the measurement was made, and a salted hash of your IP address. The hash only serves the limit of one measurement per visitor and day and is deleted after two days.

If you book a call we store name, company, phone number, email address, chosen time and your message, plus when the form was sent and the browser type, to detect abuse.

Reports are built from public information: the Google Business Profile, the company website and answers from AI services. We store nothing about you as a private person from those sources.

Why

To show the report you asked for, keep the limit of one measurement per visitor and day, and hold the call you booked. The calendar invitation for the call is sent through Google Calendar from hej@synsni.se. The legal basis is contract and legitimate interest. No newsletters, no contact you did not ask for, and we never sell data.

For how long

Booking details 24 months after the call, or until you ask us to delete them. The IP hash two days. Customer records required by bookkeeping law are kept as the law requires. Reports about businesses are not personal data and stay as long as the service exists.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page loads. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Where data is stored

In a Cloudflare database. Calendar invitations are handled by Google Workspace. Processors acting on our behalf have GDPR agreements.

Your rights

You can at any time ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to us contacting you. Email hej@synsni.se and we sort it within a week. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
